all that was left was upper infield gallery?

I have no idea. Upper Infield Gallery is all I tried for. We're perfectly happy sitting up there and at $35 per ticket per game I didn't want to spend more if I didn't have to do so. I'm kind of viewing this as diverting the money that would have gone to this month's Capitals season ticket payment, but anyway, our budget doesn't have room for lower-level tickets just now.

How early did some of you log in?

As I posted earlier, I took a look around 9:45 just to see and the virtual waiting room countdown was there.  So I closed the window and came back at 9:59.   Good luck!

How early did some of you log in? Just curious... I started checking five minutes before tip off.

About 9:57 or 9:58. I always click a little early just in case the ticketing website's clock disagrees with the one on my PC. I never really know what time it is anymore, seems like there are so many damn clocks and they all disagree (heck, looking around in my office I see five—my PC's display, the Logitech Squeezebox Touch display, the fax machine, my iPhone if I turn it on, and my Kindle if I turn it on).

Still in a virtual waiting room. At 10:30 I'll start crying, losing hope.

I tried around 10:20 just to see what was available. Not planning to purchase since I have all I need. Five minutes in the waiting room and still can't get in. Wow.

...that's nothing - in the 1970's British Customs at Heathrow airport nicked a man who tried to smuggle 300 watches in a lady's girdle round his waist. (He was a house painter disguised as a Catholic priest and drew additional time for that - Britain had, at least in those days, a law expressly criminalising getting into disguise with the intent of avoiding legal obligations such as customs duties.)

And even that pales before the load someone left in an airliner loo at roughly that same time - 988 watches and 3,000 watch movements. Some people will simply spare no expence in seeing to it that they truly have the correct time!

I logged in at 9:45 and was in the VR 'till about 10:15.  Best available was lower level outfield corner, I threw them back and picked up 2 Upper infield gallery (400 level) for game 1.

I got in but Homeplate Reserved seats as I expected were unavailable for the games I tried. I poked around various sections for a bit looking for some seats worth grabbing as a treat but since I already have a strip nothing really struck my fancy. Looks like there are decent number of tickets available though so I wouldn't lose hope if you are still waiting.

Funny how these things work. I'm in the waiting room for about 12 mintutes now. Good thing I'm not buying. Just window shopping.

All these games will sell out, no doubt.

I got tickets for the 2nd and 3rd home game. Only individual seats were available for Game 2. I managed to get two seats together for Game 3.

No game 1 tickets were available.

For those of us who are not season ticket holders and won't get lucky in the lottery:

http://www.stubhub.com/washington-nationals-tickets

NLDS tickets can be had from $60 up
NLCS tickets can be had from $100 up
World Series tickets can be had from $300-500 up

About 3,000 tickets to each playoff game are already being listed on the secondary market. I imagine that the supply will substantially increase after the initial sale to the public.

Updating:

NLDS
Game 1 - 4,042 left starting at $64
Game 2 - 4,305 left starting at $63.89
Game 3 - 3,876 left starting at $64

NLCS
Game 1 - 2,013 left starting at $115
Game 2 - 1,833 left starting at $100
Game 3 - 1,989 left starting at $125
Game 4 - 1,695 left starting at $149

World Series
Game 1 - 1,761 left starting at $472
Game 2 - 1,670 left starting at $375
Game 3 - 1,673 left starting at $450
Game 4 - 1,669 left starting at $500

No game 1 tickets were available.

I assume that reference to "NLDS game 1" means "first NLDS home game"  (and no, NLDS game 1 will not necessarily be on the road, as we have not yet won the division).  But what does "game 1" mean.   Does it mean whichever comes first: wildcard or first home NLDS game?

My internet went down for 20 mins while I was waiting in the virtual waiting room. I just lost my sh*t with the girl at Time Warner Cable who could care less. Someone shoot me already... The one time the net goes down is when I'm trying to get playoff tickets. WTF!

Glad they sold out before the opposing team was known to at least force opposing fans to pay out the nose for tickets.

Yes, any reference to "game 1, game 2, game 3" in this thread means "first Nationals home game of the NLDS, second Nationals home game of the NLDS", etc.

Tiebreaker and Wildcard games are sold separately.

Yes, "Game x" means "Home Game x."

Perhaps the Nationals should have taken a lesson from the way the Capitals used to do it by using letters instead of numbers to avoid ambiguity—"Home Game A," etc. I would have thought anyone buying tickets, especially via a presale, would be savvy enough to know that they're only selling tickets to home games and that the game numbers therefore refer to which home game it is (and indeed the presale e-mail advertised this fact), but I suppose you should never underestimate how easily some people get confused.

I think game 3 is gone too. It took me half an hour to get in. I would have been, uh, a little upset if I was not just window shopping. I'm glad I took advantage of the strips I was offered and the STH presale.

Don't despair. I think the resale  market will be fair. I wouldn't pay a lot though they will be asking for the moon right from the start.

I think the resale  market will be fair.

In other words, most of the ticket demand is from re-sellers.
