Why are we still giving Alberto Gonzalez an every day job when he clearly doesn't deserve based off of his bat or his glove.

Okay, I put something a little bit flashy up there next to the line-ups. It was getting a little too boring.

He didn't play Friday or Sunday - not sure he has the every day job. Besides, he's yet to make an error at second this year and our only other alternative is Belliard. I know, I know, Ronnie's been hot. Still though, he's Ronnie Belliard.

For those going today - should be fairly hassle-free on the weather front with nothing more than 'stray shower or thunderstorm' predicted. Also nothing more than the usual problems (Red line round Fort Totten etc) on the Metrorail - unless we do end up with a long rain delay or the match goes into really deep extra innings, because at 22.00 the Blue line will be closed between Rosslyn and King Street and the Yellow line will be single-tracking between King Street and L'Enfant Plaza (this goes on every Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday till the end of the month).

A play off the Barclays Premiere League. Speaking of which, Liverpool and Aston Villa just started.

Spinman will inhale at 4:35 pm and exhale after the 2nd inning.  This is way to nerve racking for a guy turning 50 in 2 months.  LOL!  Just kidding!  Balester will do just fine.

Keep your cool, young fella.    There are strategies for dealing with the situation, if you need reminding.       :glug:

haha good luck spinman!

hopefully bally gets back on track today.  detwiler/estrada/meyers have been putting in some solid starts recently and are making cases for a call up.

The Nats still have a stable full of starters. Thats a great position to be in. Thanks and Balester will do just fine.

Is Dukes hurt?

He was putting in some extra BP time with Eckstein and he strained his thumb.

this game is going to be ugly

Gallardo struck us out 11 times a few weeks ago. Bally has a tough task to shut down the Brewers lineup
