Pirates have a lot of young talent.

They're not the pushovers they used to be.
Florida has been beating the crap out of them. The Pirates are not a good team.

Even for the people that do tend to overreact the overreactions have seemed more intense this year.

If hits in front of Pujols every day for the entire season, he officially has the best position in a lineup in the league.  He may put up monster numbers, tho he may not get walked much at all.  Btw, good DP ball by Gorzy.

They have been shutout by the Fish in consecutive games

I request:
- Espinosa double
- Ankiel walk
- Werth three-run homer
- LaRoche walk

If he were a National, Pujols wouldn't get away with not running out that groundball.  #mindfact

That doesn't really change the fact that McCutchen, Walker, Alverez, and Tabata are nice young players.

Good, cause they are not. A few decent players sprinkled in here and there. Their pitching staff does not scare anyone regardless of what the numbers say.

It still feels like a soccer player on loan every time I see Werth in a Nats uniform.  Hasn't quite become routine, yet.
