How many times will they keep showing the replays from that one inning yesterday? :bang:

This franchise is embarrassing

Dave said "Lohse is perfect" so that means he's jinxed

Indeed.

Werth and Morse are killing us. They are not providing the RBIs that Bob was just referencing.

...and the strikeout ends it.

Hopefully when I get off work the score won't be 12 -0.

It's only the 3rd inning and the Cards only have 1 hit, it just happened to be a big hit.

Gives you a different take on "I've got friends in all the low places."

The last time Washington/Montreal was no-hit was 1991.

They get the Pirates and Mets next...I'm cautiously optimistic the bats will come alive.
Plus, the temperature is going to be in the 80s next week.

Not a good start.  Lohse isn't a bad pitcher, but we should be able to put an inning together against him.  As for Gorzy, a lot of pitches, one mistake, I think he'll be okay, tho he walks too many and this team is not the one to do that against.

"Every at-bat for the Cardinals has been at least 4 pitches, except for Holliday, who homered."

Games like this is precisely the reason why this is a losing franchise.  Yes, all teams have games like this but there's, if past is prologue, there's little indication that tomorrow's game won't be just like this and the next game.

Losing franchises don't have a "trigger" to stop performances like this.

Pirates have a lot of young talent.

They're not the pushovers they used to be.
