Good luck to all in the market. While I am not unemployed, I currently am doing something I didn't earn a degree in college for, and want to find something I enjoy doing (like everybody else)

Better lucky than good?

I was told to expect an offer letter this weekend. Can't wait to tell my current company to shove off. Also can't wait until they find out what contract I'm on. They lost the bid on this even though it was their contract the last go around. The VP told me it was because, "We couldn't find the right people to put on it."

While I know we never see eye to eye Slate, it's a small world out there and it may be better to not gloat. Telling the former company in a nonchalant manner may be better in the long run.

You can gloat with your friends while drinking to the good turn of events. Or when you see me this summer, you can gloat about the prospects of new gun control laws.
