he might be DFA'd before the end of this week.

No freaking way that happens.

Our fans seemed very cordial to Marquis. Thats why these fans deserve a winning team here!

Best non catch of the year by Bernadina!
Better than Desmond quad-a-juggle try?

... Seems like we're needing our long relievers, Stammen and Batista, nearly every non-Lannan game lately. This isn't going to work putting so much work on them day after day after day. On a more positive note, Marquis the bum is out of the gamely, and for now we still have a shot at the game.

Spinman, what's going to happen to your Nats fancard when/if Balester gets traded or released and he ends up on another team like the Braves or the Cubs or the Indians?

They will DL Marquis.  They have to pay him anyway. J Zimm comes up. They will have to Bring back Balester for more help in the Pen too. Stammen, Batista will be getting getting way too much long relief work.

  The Tigers and Angels were going to be two of the choices but I decided to change them to a division opponent and a team a lot of people follow like the Cubs.

But either way, the question remains the same.

No more John Pattersons if he comes back next year.  Expect him to not be pitching well next season so have somebody to replace him and if he's not pitching well in the spring, DROP HIM before the season starts.  If he pitches well, it's a bonus.

that's why i think craig stammen is awesome in the pen.

his sinker/change-up can induce groundball doubleplays and then mix in fastball/curve when he wants a punchout.

 CS

Not a chance but you still haven't answered the question. Will you still pull for the Nats a little bit?

The way Stammen hits I would keep him in the game.
