Zim threw down his bat and helmet and was tossed. He said nothing before getting tossed.

He was actually in the process of saying "freaking bullcrap" just before getting tossed, but the ump was clearly tossing him over the throwing of the bat and helmet.

I noticed this too, he had just barely begun to say it as the umpire began to toss him.  Definitely over the tossing of the bat/helmet.

Another horrible throw for a big league shortstop.

Yep. Definitely over the tossing over the bat and helmet. Ridiculous.

Desmond with a brillant move; throws the ball away to get Cox to burn McCann's bat in a tie game.  The Kid is a real thinker. :)

Did Nolan Ryan still throw 96-97 at the age of 38?

This team in extra innings is awful, so they should just give it up in the 9th.

I know Ryan threw at least one complete game at the age of 44 it was a no-hitter.

We'll be fine. Riggleman got kicked out before he could deplete the bench with inane double switches.

I'm not saying their great but with Riggleman's crappy approach they'd all be out there and players like Dunn would be out and we'd have "defensive" replacements by now.

Our collection of sub-.200 hitters who strikeout or groundout in their only plate appearances.

Don't tell me you weren't thinking the same thing
This team is just awful in extra innings and they are horrible on the road in general. The Braves are the complete opposite, so logic says they'll win this one.

he did throw his bat pretty hard, but jeez, he's Ryan Zimmerman not Milton Bradley, give the guy a break.

I understand what you are saying....but the Nationals bench right now hitting wise looks the same as the Nats bullpen hitting wise.
