Nationals @ Braves, Game 2
« Topic Start: August 18, 2010, 05:18:35 PM »
Nationals
1. Roger Bernadina, CF
2. Ian Desmond, SS
3. Ryan Zimmerman, 3B
4. Adam Dunn, 1B
5. Ivan Rodriguez, C
6. Adam Kennedy, 2B
7. Michael Morse, RF
8. Willie Harris, LF
9. Livan Hernandez, SP

Braves
1. Omar Infante, 2B
2. Jason Heyward, RF
3. Martin Prado, 3B
4. Brian McCann, C
5. Eric Hinske, 1B
6. Melky Cabrera, LF
7. Alex Gonzalez, SS
8. Rick Ankiel, CF
9. Tim Hudson, SP

I don't understand why Pudge is batting 5th while Morse is batting 7th? Pudge should be batting 8th in this lineup. Not that it will matter because today is an automatic loss with Tim Hudson pitching.

Alternating R and L, isn't my thing all the time, but that look like what Rigs was going here.  Plus, Pudge has been spraying line drives lately.  Morse hasn't.

+1.  He's not undefeated vs. the Nats.

Except for McCann, Braves lineup looks worse. Hinske is still a mirage IMO. Fat load, too.

One of Riggleman's obsessions which makes him so freaking predictable. :smh:

I mean worse than yesterday, sorry. Nats are stronger than yesterday but still don't inspire confidence.

Luckily, Derek Lee won't be in the lineup until at least Thursday.

He's just staying in Chicago until Friday afternoon when the Braves play @ the Cubs.

... and then there is that back injury he has.  Either way he was on fire before the injury, glad we don't have to face him.

I was thinking the same thing when I heard about the trade from the Cubs.

Why even play the game? It's Tim Hudson, why bother?

Wasn't Flores old number #3?

That's the one they gave Ramos.

You know, sometimes I want to be on your side when Linty is bashing you, but god dammit man, then you come out with crap like this and it makes it hard to ever back you on anything you say.

Check Hudson's career stats against the Nats and then get back to me. He OWNS this franchise.

I don't give a damn if he has a 1.00 winning % with a 0.00 ERA against us, to say give up before the game even starts is not something a fan would say.

Shut up quitters. Your nagging is ruining a great night for baseball.
