More than that, do they honestly believe a personality like Valentine is or would consider being a manager under Loria? I know money talks, but that dip**** Loria isn't going to be able to get any big name manager. There are plenty of other teams out there that'd kill to have Valentine who aren't owned by the two biggest jerks in baseball, Angelos and Loria. No way do I see Valentine considering this job.

we finish 5th in the division every year, they are usually at least competitive, and who knows what spending promises he got.
