But he was signed to their AAA club. At one point this season, the Nats viewed him as potential closer material or even a veteran starter. I think the bigger question is how do the Nationals feel squandering a season trying to rely on bums like Kip Wells to fill key roles on their big-league club who can only find filler jobs in the Reds' AAA squad.
