Rivera in another 1 run game??!! Why shouldn't I give up if Frank is already conceding the game?
Rivera's ERA in September, 0.77, and for the season, 3.74. What's wrong with that?
that doesn't account for all of the inherited runners he has given up and all of the times he pitched in mop-up games.
Well I've never been overly impressed with him, but the basic stats say he's pretty solid. I'm going to look further before throwing him under the bus. And he did the job tonight, which is always the most important thing!
