sportsguy33 Look out Detroit, Jim Joyce isn't done. He just ran his rental car over Kid Rock and Bob Seger.

Chief... for you.

The first out of the inning. Should've just given it to him after this amazing play.

Is there any way Selig can reverse the call and award the perfect game?

All Jim Joyce has to do is call an out and his mug is in the video of a perfect game, forever!

It seems like since Pudge has left for the dl, there's been a lot of questionable pitching locations. Way before the walk-off hit to Berkmann and the homer to Lee, but it just seems since Nieves has taken over, the Nats pitchers aren't pitching to batter's weakness. Its like we pitch t heir strength and right where they like it in the k-zone.

Maybe I'm over-analyzing but it just seems thats way. Only pitcher on our staff who pitches smart in most situation seems to be Livan, but he's crafty and that'ss what he does.

I doubt it. I doubt it would start here. The game is official. Id like to see it happen though. I wonder if the next perfect game they will just go straight to 22.

Hell yea Desmond. GET EM IN!

Morse has really done nothing to earn all the drooling he elicited here over the last 6-8 months.  He needs to deliver here.

I only liked him coming into the year as a 1B backup and PH but he has been terrible.

I still feel horrible about the call.

I'm sure Joyce feels worse.

you have to think the idea of pinch hitting for nieves is crossing Riggleman's mind right now.

I Wiki'ed Jim Joyce this is already there

Controversial call
On June 2, 2010, Joyce made a controversial call at first base which would have given Armando Galarraga of the Detroit Tigers a perfect game.

two months ago we were still wondering if they over-paid for pudge, any question now that maybe they underpaid?
