So cute!!

Here's a pic from yesterday of my mom and dad's new dog, a rescue beagle corgi mix (we think). She's around 13 pounds, this is a close up of her nodding off sitting in the chair next to me.  :P

What is Ollie's?

A bargain store for honkies like me.  They buy up close outs and inventories of stores going out of business etc, and sell for cheap.

For instance, I usually stock up on sugar free drink mix packets (like crystal lite) that are normally like $2.99 at the grocery store for 10 packets for $0.99 at Ollie's.

I dunno about that dog.  If you mix a Beagle with a cORGi, don't you get The Borg?

That or maybe a Corgle or Borgi. :P

We are the borgi.  Your culture will adapt to service us.  Your cuteness will be added to our own.  Resistance is futile.

Billy Corgle?  Wasn't he a singer in the '90s?  I'm just catching up to that period.

My cousin is reading it. It got a good review.

He sprained his ankle so he couldn't buy me a gift.  So he gave me a CAPS signed practice jersey that he bought a few years ago.  Awwwsome!!!  He's kind of Anti-Cap these days. He's from NY and grew up a Rangers fan.  So he's slowly converting to NEW YAWK Rags fan  :'(

My son,  showing a late-developing sense of concern-for-others, actually bought this for me for Christmas...

Another reminder of Mark Twain:

"When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years. "

The way I heard it was Twain left home and came back in four years and said, "It's amazing how much my father learned in four years."     Whatever, it's all good.

Children still feel that way.   :)    Trust me on this.    My son is 21 and thinks I just fell off the turnip truck.

Nationals side out for home games, Washington side out for away games, I'll flip the shade over for rallies. ;)
