0-2 means nothing to Zimmermann, unfortunately.

Cardinals broadcast just showed some amazing throws from CF by Ankiel during a colorado game. He threw it from the warning track on a frozen rope to 3rd base to get the runner out. NO BOUNCE.

Yup, should learned from the Brewers series. Don't walk people. It's the fundamental difference between winning and losing.

81 pitches, 3 swinging strikes. JZ has had major problems with swinging strike % since returning from TJ. Tonight's a big example why.

Yup, he doesn't know how to put batters away. Needs to bury that breaking ball in the dirt and throw the fastball up or away.

but linty, who cares ... if tonight is his worst outing of the year - which it is - i don't care how many swings and misses he gets.  it'll get better.

We have already come back twice tonight. The offense worked it's ass off to scratch and claw and get those runs back last inning. Now they have to do it again.. Too much

Because, if you don't get swings and misses you can't constantly get strike outs.

Without strike outs you can't survive.

Don't take this wrong, but Debi Taylor always has a look on her face like someone just hit her

2 outs and no one on base and he issues a walk. Dagger. Would have rather seen a Solo HR.

Don't be stupid.

I love LaRussa taking Garcia out. Should be zero tolerance for a leadoff walk after your offense just spotted you two 2 out runs. Pathetic and inexcusable.
