Wow, are the new heroics that hard?  I mean I guess it is nice since Wrath heroics were a joke.  I could AB spam on my mage and never OOM and down stuff no problem.  At least now there will be a challenge for them anyway, at least until some of the upper tiers of raid gear are out.

Does anyone know how many battles it takes to turn the cursed shield into the paladin shield?  And where do I find the moogle charm?  Tired of all these random griefers.

62 Gnomie mage, mid 30's Worgen Feral Combat Druid, mid 30's Goblin Rogue back on Frostwolf.  Why did I leave Frostwolf in the first place?  Dammit, should have just stayed horde there.

Goblin mage is half way to 84.  Working on him as much as I can from now on until 85 probably.

OoOoOoOoOoOoooh!  I'm getting this pet tonight:

It's a 5 quest chain, ending in "Lawn of the Dead" where you get the pet as a quest reward.  It's Plants vs. Zombies basically, Blizzard teamed up with Popcap Games to make the little minigame that the quest involves.

:lmao: have any of you seen the new Gamon?  He used to be a level 12 with what, 400hp in Orgrimmar that was part of a quest for a rogue to pickpocket.  To pick pocket, he had to be attackable.  He would sit, forlornly in a corner, and people would kill him on site (high levels, I could one hit him with my wand lol).  He would say "oh no, not again!"

Well, now, with the new Org, he's at the new inn, sitting in the corner.  But he's no level 12.  Now he's an 85 elite with 1,937,000 hp +  No more freaking with Gamon now!  Revenge for Gamon

OMG, this site is hilarious:

http://christwire.org/2011/03/charlie-sheen-goes-crazy-world-of-warcraft-to-blame/

Quote
The world watches the downfall of Charlie Sheen, trying to figure out what has caused the Two and a Half Men star to hit rock bottom. Drugs? Ego? Obama? Multiple Psychoses?
As the public media circuit wrestles with these questions, there is one telling quote in the series of crazy ramblings by Sheen that brings the source to his crazy to light.
“YOU ARE NO MATCH FOR THIS WARLOCK!”
For those not in the know, World of Warcraft is a Satanic sorcery game that is made for children. It is the product of a Japanese video game firm named Blizzard and since its launch in 1999, has addicted 20 million people worldwide.
There have been numerous stories of how this game has caused children to engage in blood orgies and some have gone into death wrenching seizures from playing the game for too long.
Such tragedy has not put an end to growth of players of this dangerous game and now we see, Charlie Sheen is the newest victim of its cold Satan clutches.

:lmao:
Also note that Blizzard is an American company, WoW was released in 2004, and it only has around 12 million subscribers.

It's not a serious site (I don't think).  It's supposed to be satire.  Unless some people really believe that gays are exploiting Alzheimer's to further their agenda.

I'm curious... I started up EQ2 after a yearlong break aside from season events, since they are having their 12th anniversary and one of the instances gives top raid level weapons and belts for the next week. Way, way overpowered crap. So I'm farming it with my six characters. But I also found out about public quests, something I never stuck around long enough when Velious came out to hear about. I'm curious if WoW has something similar... It's an innovative concept, although one I fear can lead to a proliferation of characters decked out in too good of gear for too little risk.

Basically, every two hours one of two public quests starts up. It's a mini event, takes place in an open zone, anyone can participate. Difficulty scales based on number of participants, and for the 24+ player quests, the loot varies from good to nearly raid level quality. All for about ten minutes every two hours... Like I said, it's a fascinating concept, although one I'm afraid SoE overdid in an attempt to become more casual friendly. But has WoW instituted anything like this? It, combined with the reward for everyone, seems like something you'd expect in WoW... If it isn't there yet, I'd expect it the next GU thanks to SoE.
