We are 6-24 on our last 30 road games. We lose either due to pitching or hitting, never both. At home we seem to be able to put both together. There is clearly a major problem here from those three sentences, and it has to come from coaching. I don't buy an entire team can fluctuate so rapidly. It's almost like they hit well and lose due to pitching, the staff focuses of pitching during pre-game. Then pitching is incredible, and the hitting is awful. Reverse and repeat.
Bottom line, a few games of this bipolar crap is just awful luck. 6-24 on the road, and this continual turnaround between pitching and hitting isn't luck. And it's happening to nearly every single player on the team, for over two months now. There is something major preventing this team from living up to it's potential, and it's not lack of skill, ability or bad luck. It's either horrible clubhouse attitude on the road, fatigue, or poor coaching. All signs, based on what few facts are available, certainly make it seem the logical explanation for something that has gone on this long is somewhere above the players... There comes a point where games like this just stop making sense. And 6-24 for our past thirty road games is that point.
