This is what I'm drinking tonight but it looks like I might run out by the 5th inning.   :smh:

Were you buzzed when you took the picture?   It's awfully wobbly.   I find that resting the camera on an arm rest gives the camera user a sturdy perch to take a focused picture when you're plowed.

Actually I was only on my third so I was fine.

We had a couple of shots last night at Justin's, called Fireball shots.  Tasted just like fireball candy.  These could be very addictive

My 21 year old niece and her mother apparently like some stuff called Moscato?  I had to pick up a couple of bottles of that along with 10 bottles of two-buck chuck for Thursday.  That stuff sounds like boone's farm with less alcohol. :spaz:

Anyone ever have Fireball whiskey?  Picked up a pint while at the liquor store.  I wanted some drinkin' liquor but was too afraid to spend money on Scotch that I wouldn't like.  They didn't have any small bottles of Wild Turkey, only half-gallons, so I got the Wild Turkey 101, hope its serviceable.

My friends swear by Fireball as their go-to campfire hootch.  Never tried it myself, but it can't be any worse than some of the distilled death I had in Indonesia last month.  As for scotch, JW red might be the best value out there...Famous Grouse sucks ass in comparison

I saw Famous Grouse.  And "leperhoaig" or something like that but that was $100.  I thought Johnny Walker was considered bottom shelf and crappy

That's 'Laphroaig' (la-FROYG), a single malt from Islay - definitely an acquired taste because of its incredible smokiness (I rather like it though).

Serviceable?  By far the best of the mid-range American bourbons to my taste.  Beam is coarse, something about Jack Daniels never quite worked for me, but Wild Turkey fits the palate a little too well.

If it's too strong for you you can always cut it with vermouth, a dash of bitters and a Maraschino cherry.

The Heathrow duty free is like the world's biggest candy store if one likes single malt scotch.  Too bad the U.S. duty free limit is only a litre.

The 101?  I like the regular stuff but not the 101.  I'm not one to do shots so I wanted something good enough to just sip.

Neat or on the rocks?

Yes, quite good, though more expensive than the regular 101.

Dilutes it too much for my taste. I also tend to pour a sizable amount and sip it over a long period of time. I really like it with a hoppy ale.

I like it chilled a bit, and usually whiskeys sit up behind the bar so patrons can see the selection, not chilled to 55 or so.

Hah, I actually have a set, but keep forgetting about them buried in the freezer.  You do really have to remember not to bite down on them.
