Any one here think Esco might be our solidified starter in CF for the second half of the season (with byrd slipping in there every now and then)?
I think ill answer my own question with an enthusiastic YES!
It would be a real boost as we desperately need outfielders but it would take a very brave GM to pencil Alex in as starting CF next season even IF he plays well and stays healthy the rest of this season.
Nobody has ever questioned his talent, but his injury history is horrible (tho its hard not to like him as some of it was just freakish and didn't look like it was conditioning related).
Got to figure this season is about his last chance at establishing some sort of major league career.
