You're desperate to have Desmond in the 2 hole aren't you?

Oh shut up.  He deserves to bat 2nd.

I can't take credit for the format.  I borrowed it from someone else...I wish I could remember who I borrowed it from though...
After doing a little research, it appears as though 2k6nats was the originator of the format and Chief passed it on to me.

Damn, I was going to do the GD thread, but i was having trouble with the Dempster cub. I already had the Atilano gNat ready.

Couldn't make it work:

You're welcome to reserve a game in the "who's next" thread if you like.  Same goes for anyone.  I'll let you guys work it out unless my input is specifically asked for.

@washingnats: A new right-field platoon for the #Nats: Roger Bernadina and Justin Maxwell. Riggleman wants one to take the job full time.

So is Tavares just a reserve and pinch runner now?

so does that spell the end for Taveras as clearly someone has to go when we recall a reliever.

I was more thinking when Morse got off the DL.

Willy is a very good outfielder, damn shame his O sucks. I'd think that he's the cut after monday.

Today's preview tackles that issue.  Fact of the matter is that he has a much higher OBP right now than Guz, and runs better.  Normally I would say you can protect a young guy by burying him at 7th, but Desmond seems to have enough moxie to stay at #2

Best of luck to Maxwell/Bernadina.  I guess that means Harris is back to regutility player?

I don't get you. I asked you a question and you flew off the handle so I'll rephrase the question, so you're saying you demand his bat in the 2 hole?

I don't think we can keep morse, harris, maxwell, bernadina and tavares, one of those has to go.

That was my point.  When Morse is ready to come off the DL, Tavaras will probably go down (if that's an option) or be cut at that point.  Morse is more versatile than Tavaras.

Wasn't Bernadina supposed to be the next Willy Taveras anyways? I think Willy Taveras could make a big impact on a winning team as a pinch runner and defensive replacement, but how about Bernardina? When Willie Harris is healthy, he's the defensive sub. Can Bernardina cut it as a pinch runner when we need one? I can't watch enough games to tell. I like Willy Taveras, but if Harris is already the defensive sub and if Bernardina can handle pinch running duties as well as have a better bat, is there any reason to keep Taveras?

I don't think it is going to last. They are hot right now, but I have a feeling all it is going to take is one bad game before they come crashing back down the standings. crap, even the 08' and 09' Nats had ridiculous, overachieving streaks.

They are beating the Dodgers whose pitching staff is a disaster.  As for the LA offense I guess Manny means a awful lot to them.

couldn't the same argument be made for us?  They've actually got a decent lineup even with Beltran being out and Pelfrey's breakout has been huge for them.
