One HD 52 inch destroyed.  Didn't realize the lethality of Talons.  Anyway, if I didn't know any better I'd think sabotage was at hand here.  What is Dunn doing in RF?  Big Dukes supporter, and he CAN play CF, but I thought he was filling in temporarily?!  Corners are his ideal position.  Kearns and Dukes have an understanding, Dunn's  track on that last fly was awful.  He should have been tracking in front or behind Dukes, not directly at him.  I'll even put the error on Dukes, but the onus on the Mgr.  I'm sure management will spin the blame on Dukes.  This team is snake bit, plain and simple.  These guys are managing like the really don't care.  And don't think Lastings isn't stinking it up for a reason, IMO - he doesn't want to come back up.  Can't say I blame him.

When we get rid of these short term contracts, our OF should be LF-??/CF-Maxwell/Bernadina/RF-Dukes.  Anything short of that BS.

Lakers/Rockets tomorrow night Game 3.  Best 12 rounds of Basketball to be televised in years!

haha that isn't even a choice.  The real decision is if you ask for the score of the game at the bar and reveal that you are a Nats fan OR just assume that we lost.

If I wait until 10:15 to leave the outcome should already be evident.  :?

I actually think they'll win tomorrow. Martis should have a good time against their lineup of free swingers. We also get the luxury of facing Petit, who has been one of the worst starters in the NL so far this year.

Good point, I should start doing that instead of revealing myself to drunk morons ranting about how bad the Nats are.  It is ridiculous, like I don't know my own team is horrible.

I picked Randy Wolf to give up the most runs to the Nats of any pitcher all week in the YNOT. FML

Rizzo has handled this entire team/roster so poorly.

Willingham should have either been dealt or allowed to play everyday. Giving him a few spot starts a week does nothing for Josh Willingham or the Washington Nationals.

The same reason why they refuse to dump Cabrera. They are too cheap to fork money over to hire a replacement.

Has it ever occurred to you, even for a second, that he may have tried but no one wants him?

I can agree with this much.  If they can't deal him, just let him ride the bench until Kearns is traded or it becomes evident he can't be traded.

trade him for whatever we can get. surely someone would take him. it does nothing for anybody to keep him here riding the pine.

They could still replace Manny and be cheap by giving Riggleman the position for the rest of the year.  Manny has got to be on his last limbs here and I sure as hell hope St. Claire is too.

Hiring from within worked wonders in Rick Eckstein's case...

of course that's never occurred to sportsfan. he hates Rizzo because he replace Bowden.

you know how he is with his "boys" and his "enemies".

Rizzo hasn't really done a great job so far, but sportsfan is going to blow everything as far out of proportion as he can and make Rizzo out to be the most incompetent person in the history of baseball, in the hopes that someone besides him might actually miss Bowden. (fat chance).
