Who the hell is Ron Villone?  Anyone have a player profile of him?

I think he shortened his name from Villonez.

He's an old guy and if you google his name this comes up. Check out the third post.

39 year old journeyman reliever who has thrown 1,119.1 innings in the majors while compiling a 4.75 ERA.

I thought he was 36.  He was with the Cardinals last year.  Their closer, Ryan Franklin, is 36 and has dramatically improved since 2008.  Maybe we should hire away the St Louis pitching coach, since we NEED TO FIRE RANDY CLAIRE.

Welcome, Mr. Villone!!!

To quote one of my favorite movies in regards to Villone, "Look at this f@#king guy."

Looks like it is fine, he is up there swinging fine.  It will probably be sore tomorrow, but it won't matter because Kearns will be in the lineup instead.

I request the following:

Willingham solo HR
Flores single
Hernandez single
Belliard flyout
Guzman K
Johnson double (2 RBI)
Zimmerman double (RBI)

Freak, if you told me in the first inning this would actually end up being a good game, I would have punched you.  But damn, this is shaping up to be a good one.
