Michael O'Connor, LHP (2-2, 2.65)
O'Connor was strong in his last outing, against the Astros, lasting six innings and receiving a no-decision. Houston only got to the left-hander for one run on three hits -- the lone run coming on a Morgan Ensberg home run in the second inning. O'Connor kept his work load light against Houston, throwing only 80 pitches, 48 for strikes.

VS.

Jon Lieber, RHP (3-5, 5.83)
Lieber had another rocky outing on May 24, and was more upset with the home plate umpire than his pitching. That said, he allowed two home runs and surrendered at least four earned runs for the seventh time in his 10 starts.

Hopefully Ryan Zimmerman will follow the lead of his alma mater's lacrosse team and have a big game tonight at Citzen's Bank Park.

Dammit, even THESE announcers say "jam job!"  I thought we'd escaped that by getting the Phillies guys.

Eso how are you watching the game?  MLB.TV?  I'm watching on MASN, so I've still got the jam factory calling the game.

The Phillies announcers are utterly soporific.  They sound like they're reading bedtime stories to old men.

Yeah, these Philly announcers are so awful, not only are they unintelligent, their voices are also very annoying..  Paciorek and Carpenter blow them away.

What's going on?  Are we stuck at a full count with Fasano?

I guess not.  It's the worst of both worlds.  They score a run and get the pitcher at bat now instead of at the top of the next inning.  :x

O'Connor not having one of his best starts thus far.  Let's see how the rest of his outing pans out.

Another correction, they pinch hit for the pitcher.  What's wrong with Lieber?
