Good job of pitching around the error. Come on offense!

Flores gets an RBI by getting hit with the bases loaded, right?

We're going to need to dial long distance to get back in this one.

Rivera has given up just 2 earned runs in his last 13 2/3 IP. His ERA is down to an impressive 3.40.

Asking for Felipe to get two hits in one game is asking for WAY too much.

freakin' Lopez. How pathetic. It's sad how much just 2 players can drag a team to the ground.

Flop's double earned him starting privileges with Manny for the rest of the month.

This is why it's better to wait on relievers w/ good track records before saying something like: "Get this freaking waste of space off the team!!!!!!" :D. Things can turn around real fast. Colome doesn't fit into this category.

I would really like to believe so.

I'm fairly confident about this. Several weeks ago, Manny said publicly that it's just not working out with Wily Mo. I believe at that time, Manny figured Jimbo would be pulling the plug on the experiment. I think Manny has been disappointed and surprised that that hasn't happened.

The fact that Wily Mo is still on the team says to me Jimbo is pushing for the playing time he's getting. Jimbo could get rid of Wily Mo any time he wants to, but he doesn't do it. I have little doubt that he's the driving force behind Manny continuing to play the guy.

I think our window closed when WMP defecated at the plate with the bases loaded and only 1 out.

What do you think we should do with that waste of space Ayala, ronnynat?

Yep. That was it. I'm looking forward to that toolbag Valverde pwning us and then dancing all over our mound in the 9th.

He's a different story w/ the injuries and all. I don't doubt that he can get his crap straight, but I'd rather him do it at a lower level. Like you pointed out the other day, the movement that he used to have is nonexistent these days.

Brownlie blows. Someone here just posted an article on him. He's lost 10 MPH on his heater since he was the Cubs' first round pick in 2002.

There wouldn't be a debate at all, Bob. Rauch has been by far our best reliever.
