I'd be shocked if it wasn't Detwiler on Tuesday. Hasn't pitched since April 30th. I bet they've been stretching him out on the side.

Per Kilgore - if Det isn't used on Monday he starts on Tuesday, otherwise Treinen gets the spot.

hmm. Treinen threw 1 inning yesterday and 4 innings on April 28th. I think an experienced team like the Dodgers would eat him up but then again Detwiler is just as capable of being hammered if he can't throw strikes.

I've been Detwiler's biggest fan for a few years. Wouldn't mind seeing him get another shot as a starter.

McLouth batting 7th tonight :hang:

Why Leon playing again over Lobaton?

Hasn't Leon been a tad better at getting on base than Lobaton, or am I mind-facting that?
It is becoming painful to watch McLouth flail away at the plate, he really is hurting us.

Pretty sure Lobaton is nursing an injury per the manager's report on 106.7 yesterday. Something was said about him being available off the bench in an emergency.

Edit: McLouth reminds me of Stairs, with his one big hit off the wall. At least Stairs had the good sense to make it a walkoff hit. The Nats lost when McLouth hit his against Atlanta.

I suppose he also had that home run in "garbage low leverage time"

2 of 3 would be a success.

We will beat Kershaw and Greinke and lose to Haren.

Maybe didn't quote the right person.  Said the Nats don't know their starter for Thursday.  Perhaps whoever it is will pull a Roberto Hernandez aka Fausto Carmona.

This is a 3 game series, right?   And Thursday is a travel day, right?
