Let me just clarify the point of my arguing: ERA is a pretty decent stat. But it's flawed, and 6IP/2ER does not necessarily mean a well-pitched ball game. Lots of external factors are present in ERA, so it can't tell the whole story (nor can any stat), and it did not tell the whole story tonight. Marquis pitched like crap. Ramos caught amazingly, and probably saved Marquis and the Nats a couple additional runs.
