why can't people just be happy that we scored the run and move onto SSSing our way to more good luck

Perfect example of attributing something untrue. Who says we're not happy they scored the run? Acknowledging that it was a terrible decision does not preclude being happy that, somehow, it ended up benefiting the Nats.
