Thanks for your service to our country!  What exactly are you looking for?  Govt or contractor?  Do you live in VA or MD?  I may be able to put you in touch with some networking groups.
Northern Virginia. I'd like to try working for the private sector. I was a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense Specialist. Seeing as how that wasn't the most active mission, I spent a lot of time in Operations Control Centers. On the last deployment I was also the squad leader for a provisional rifle platoon.
Isn't everybody a grunt?   :)
lol, not if you go to a grunt battalion. Then if you ain't 03xx you ain't &%$#. At least, until they need bodies for a provisional rifle platoon. Then its "Every Marine a rifleman"

Thought about being an Intel analyst or Special agent for the FBI?  You seem to have some of the subject matter down pat!

The job listings are full of CBRND expert positions.

Okay, send me a link please? Because I just checked the FBI page. They're not hiring for the Special Agent position (and I confirmed this with a FBI recruiter in Hawaii) and I saw no listing for Intel analyst or CBRND expert on their Jobs page

Okay thanks. Some of those jobs I've actually applied for.  I'm surprised I haven't heard back from Camber. I've actually had a few classes with one of their instructors. I'm exactly  the kind of guy they're looking for.

Don't get discouraged - some plum jobs took like 2 months to call me back after I first applied, although it seems contractors call back faster than the government. You have to check at least once a day, especially for USAJOBS because they have short windows for some openings. Good luck!

PS If you know the guy at camber, drop him a call, it can't hurt.

Name is John. Love the MLB, all things MLB. Reds Fanatic, but that doesn't mean I don't know the Nationals.
Creator of a website called http://www.FromThisSeat.com. Would love to hear feedback from fans who have been to Nationals Park, Camden Yards, etc. I think a lot of fans will enjoy it. Looking forward to the conversations.

Hi there, everyone.  I am completing a move back to the D.C. area after a six-year absence.  I left just about three months after attending the franchise opener at RFK and can't wait to see more games at Nationals Park!

I'm also a Redskins fan.  Not really into the NHL or NBA.

Let's go :w:.

Welcome Natssince05.  Actually I've been a Nats fan since 1969 but I digress!  Used to be an avid Redskins fan but there play and their owner has been a serious disappointment.   Like the electricity f Verizon for hockey.

Die-Hard Phillies fan. Not one of those new "Ill" shirt wearing fans, but a fan from all the awful years at the Vet when the team couldn't draw flies. Love everything baseball and get to Nats park all the time for Phillies games.

I travel around with the wife and kid to minor league parks because I love the Atmosphere. So really, just love the baseball.

I did lol at the Werth contract though. Just here to have fun.

Cartoon Network cartoons I think are making a comeback on Nick.

Doug is coming back and a few more.  Maybe that's why!

Welcome Bloo.

Iron Pig, at first I thought the Phillies stole the "Iron" idea from Aberdeen.  They are the Iron Birds and also have a mascot called Ferrous.  Then I found out about the pig-iron reference and kind of went, "Oh well, OK".  Welcome.

Haha I think you confused the nicktoons with the cartoon cartoons. But seriously though, Cartoon Network is on the rise again with Young Justice and the Thundercats remake.

New member here. I'm a huge Dodgers fan living in DC but have been rooting for the Nats since I moved here before the 2007 season. I've been to every Nats Opening Day in the new ballpark am just starting to get into following the Nats minor league system (outside of Harper and Stras, of course). I'm a big prospect guy but unfortunately don't have any Dodgers prospects to follow anymore.

I know. And living not too far from the place, it's taken a lot of strength not to burn the place to the ground for that reason.
