In his last start, Bergmann was cruising through the first five innings, giving
up one run against he Philies. Bergmann had a 6-1 lead, but he couldn't
get out of the sixth. After getting the leadoff hitter out, Bergmann allowed
four consecutive hits and RBI singles to Pat Burrell and Geoff Jenkins to
make it a 6-3 game. The Nationals ended up losing the game, 8-7, in 10
innings. On Wednesday, Bergmann will face the Marlins for the 12 time in
his career. He is 1-0 with a 5.28 ERA against them.

Despite some rough spots in his first outing, Olsen battled through six
innings in a no-decision against the Pirates. The left-hander threw 97
pitches, and he was able to ease the workload of the bullpen, which was
overworked in the opening series of the season. Olsen was 2-2 while taking
on the Nationals in 2007, and for his career, he is 3-3 with a 4.36 ERA in
eight games.

The game isn't televised by either of the Marlin's stations, so Selig, in his infinite stupidity, also blacked out the MASN broadcast.  On a road game.  We can't even watch Nats Xtra.  MLB's TV contracts are the worst.  Way to go, dumb s***.  Why don't you go sell your mother an AMC Pacer.

Dang it. I'll be here for the first five minutes, leave for an hour, and then come back at something like 8.30 eastern time. Hope I don't miss all the fun...

Good start, Jason. It'd be nice if the Nats got an early lead for a change..

Was there an argument on Guzman's hit?  CBSSportsline changed it from a single to a 6-3.

It was a routine ground-out to short.  Quick first for Olsen.

Cantu airmails it way over Jacobs' head. NJ is awarded 2B. Come on AK!

His first toss as a Marlin in ST was a one-hopper into the bleachers.  Was this any improvement?
