It was.  That was the moment I went from "this guy looks like a crapbag" to "this guy is a total crapbag."  Dude needs to start smiling if he wants me to get off the Werthless hate train.

I feel like Mr. Werth has no emotion though.

If my quick scan of the stats is correct this was Werth's first four hit game as a Nat.  Only had 4 3-hit games last season.  Plenty of 3 and 4 strikeout games tho...

Brian Bruney was the guy that hassled Debbi after losing a game in Chicago.

Let's hope it's the beginning of a lot more good games for Werth....especially with Morse's status unknown.

Maybe then you could buy a life.  Seriously, they've hit as many times as they've struck out against two dog teams.  Let's not get the parade ready and the rings sized just yet.
 This is exactly my point.

Answer me this. Who wins the game in this scenario?

Team A: Records 10 Ks, 4 Rs.
Team B: Records 3 Ks, 2 Rs.

According to this board, it appears the answer would be Team B.

And I'm not trying to crown this team at all. I'm merely pointing out that despite the high strikeout rate, this team has been hitting and scoring runs pretty well up to this point.

Game is over, I am catching my second wind. Bottle of Jim Beam appears to be mocking me, at least that is my estimation. Tonight could be a long night.

Not for nothing, but I always felt more comfortable with my Spanish with a few beverages in me. Perhaps I can pour you a Beam? I take mine neat, y tu?

Jayson Werth seems like a guy I'd enjoy hanging out with. Providing he had shampooed his hair.

Two series' wins on the road is a great start to the 2012 campaign.

Hyperbole of course. But up to this point I've gotten the impression that a team's offense is only as good as its strikeout rate. That's why you get incessant complaints about the offense despite 3 out of the first 5 games having at least 10 hits.

EDIT: I should note that my impressions seem to stem from the vocal minority. I'm seeing a lot of good feelings right now about our start to the season.
