Might be time to make Moore a LF'er and drag him to the majors with Morse out for a long time.

I know Moore would be a trainwreck, but we desperately need pop out there.

More so than Morse?

He has got to be better than Nady or Carroll at the plate.

Well, Moore can't be any worse than Dunn/Morse.

He won't get on base much, but he can mash mistakes.

Bringing up Moore would give Marrero a place to go because he doesn't have a place either.

Corey Brown is walking tonight instead of hitting.  He has two walks, so far.

...and he steals second.  He's hellbent on getting to the majors!

I think Corey Brown needs some sustained success at AAA before we bring him up. Lombardozi should be taking fly balls in LF during the week I'd love to have him out there instead of Nady/DeRosa.

Byron Kerr wants Moore here also. Just tweeted. Moore has 66 homers in last 2.007 seasons.

did I see that Moore hit 2HRs tonight?  Wow.  Looks like we're set at 1B next year.

Keep it up Corey and Moore. Knowing this team, we won't do anything to fix our gaping holes next offseason.

Yunesky Maya being Yunesky Maya.

I forgot the poster who I argued with 2 years ago that said Maya was a legit #1 pitcher and thought Maya would be a stud. I didn't have a high opinion of him for the simple fact that he signed for so cheap. What stud pitcher signs for only $8 million.

I'm not exactly certain who you're talking about, but the person I remember who kept talking up/defending Maya was...well, I won't name him, but let's just say he was kind of a loose cannon.

The Chiefs might have the worst starting rotation in AAA.  Yunesky Maya is probably pitching better than anyone else in the rotation.

...not a slam against Lannan at all.

EDIT - Mitch Atkins has the best ERA.  I haven't seen either of his starts though.

Harper with his third fielding error of the year tonight.  LHP and fielding still remain pretty big issues in his game.

Hagerstown ends Dylan Bundy's 9 game perfect inning streak (to start his career) with a walk by Billy Burns, the #9 hitter.  Bundy is going to be an amazing pitcher for an MLB team one day, hopefully not the O's.

Meyer starting tonight, off to a good start so far after an atrocious outing last time.

Meyer struggling with his control, hit a guy and having trouble locating his pitches.  Walks a guy to load the bases now.  Unfortunately that is the book on him, dominant at times but very inconsistent.  Has to work himself out of a jam with one out...

.... He ends up giving up one run, but then strikes out a guy with a hard slider for the final out.

Man, he is having trouble finding the strike zone.  12 pitches to the first two batters of the fifth, lets up a double to first, hits the second.  Has to work himself out of another jam.

... Let's up a two RBI single to Delmarva's top hitter, off a hanging slider.

Even though he has struggled the last two innings, Meyer with 7 SO through 5.  Suns want him to go 6, pitch count may be an issue though...
