The Clubhouse / Re: The 1924 Washington Nationals
« Last post by welch on Yesterday at 09:25:47 PM »
Breaking that three-game losing streak, the Nats beat the A's beat the A's 4 - 3. Joe Martina (who??) won his second game, and went 2-for-4 at the plate. Nats almost back to .500: 4 - 5.

Turds can float to the top. Scum also rises.

Dregs are the stuff that settles on the bottom.

Those are harder for dave to polish...

The Clubhouse / Re: Injuries 2024

Thats not great. He'll miss most of this season, could even need surgery to fully repair.

It is a sprain not a tear. Time heals so no surgery plus he will have PT daily and should have been in great condition. I could be wrong on my next statement but sprains are graded 1-3. I don’t remember which is the most acute but I’ll guess #3

The Clubhouse / Mr Rubenstein, upgrade the MASN app
« Last post by PowerBoater69 on Yesterday at 09:12:48 PM »
One weird thing about the MASN app is that they don't show all of the same commercials as on the regular channel, often they'll just show a logo and have 30 seconds of silence. Another weird thing is that sometimes the app just locks up, so I'm waiting for the commercial to end with no way of knowing that the app has frozen and missed a couple batters.

Other things that Rubenstein needs to fix:
1) The lag between real time and the video.
2) The lag between the audio and the video.
3) Needs to have basic pause, rewind, and fast forward functions.
4) Needs to have one touch access to the live games, I only open the MASN app to watch the games, remember that I'm a Nats fan and take me straight to the game.
5) Needs to have archived games.

Or Tanner trying to get his speed back. Consistent 92 and 93 mph.

Ah nostalgia. I remember when the Nats stunk out the joint night after night like this. This is the 15th anniversary of the 2009 team

So this is a bullpen game where the relievers get to show if they have recovered from injuries, like Tanner, or from being lousy.

What’s the opposite of the cream rising to the top?
