I thought right-handers had a ridiculously high average against Baumgartner.  I bet mediocre pitchers around the league will start lining up to pitch against the Nats.

Bumgarner, and he is going to be a very good pitcher (was good last year and in the minors). He just had a really slow start this year.

It seems like a lot of players wait to see if their bunts go fair before they start running.

Definitely not, especially with Morse on deck. Giving away outs. Pitiful

Gotta swing there, he was overmatched.

We could have used Desmond's AB. Wasted thanks to Riggleman. He might have driven in the run.

and if he struck out or made an out, people are calling for riggs head that we didn't bunt.

Unless it's the 9th inning or the pitcher is at-bat, you NEVER sacrifice after after a leadoff double!

Terrible ABs by Morse and Hairston. The fact that Hairston is an everyday starter for us is saddening.

Riggleman didn't help us by wasting Desmond's AB.

I would have started Nix, even against the LHP.
