sinking fastball.

major weakness for Willingham. teams will exploit that.

This is where the good ones step up to the next level. He has to prove he can adjust.

I would let him work himself out of this one.

have no idea why Harris, Belliard, and Dukes continue to get starts.

why not give Morse and Padilla a shot? they can't do any worse.

every game this week has been as such.

we may have been facing decent pitchers the first two games (Jimenez and Marquis) but the last two days we have faced league average pitchers (Hammel and Looper). No excuse to get pwned like this.

Yeah, I don't get it.  We're last place, we can't do any worse, why not see what we have in these two, and I don't mean just one start.  Give both of them a week and see how they do.

Sosa continues to get beat on hanging sliders.

he's worse than Colome and Hanrahan. at least they threw their best pitch the majority of their time.

that's a quality walk.

we really need Willingham to break out of his slump here. please no ground ball to SS or 3B

What slump? Willingham is hitting 6/19 in his last five games. That's over .300.   :bang:

thank god for the rain. i couldn't stand to watch any more of this bullcrap.

We all wish you would stop. Forever.

THIS Nationals team could very easily finish with the worst record in baseball.   >:(

I hope Sosa gives up 5 or 6 more runs. anything to get that bastard off the team.

See that is the only gripe I have with Rizzo. I would be embarrassed to have pieces of crap like Sosa on the 25 man roster.

get the freak out of here. any moron with two eyes can tell you that Willingham has been slumping. Hell, even he admitted that he sucks ass against sinker ballers. he has been rolling over everything to the left side. the few hits he has lately have been little swinging bunts that fall between home and third base.

that's 4 hits off of sliders in this inning.

throws 92-94 yet refuses to throw his fastball.

it's not Nieves, Rob. it's Jorge Sosa. He is in love with his slider.

another terrible loss. this is some of the worst baseball we have played all season.
