My view of Werth's Walk Off! [video]
« Topic Start: October 11, 2012, 09:01:02 PM »
Feel free to move this somewhere else if you don't feel it deserves its own thread, but I wanted you all to see my view of the walk off. It was the best moment of baseball I've ever experienced in person!

Great shot!  The crowd exploded before the ball cleared the fence!

I took video of every pitch of that AB. I don't know why, I just knew something was about to happen. So glad I wasn't wrong.

I really love our section. We've been in these seats since 2008 and it has such a good vantage point and a great community of people who know each other.

Since there's a thread...  If anyone comes across a photo(s) of Hugh, the Chicken Man, during the celebration could you post a link? He's the fellow in the front row behind the Nat's dugout with the rubber chicken, now holding a variety of signs. I'd like one good shot of me during the excitement as a memento of history, the greatest night so far, and if he's in it then I am. Took a quick look at the WaPo and NBC4 pages, didn't come up with anything good. I'd really appreciate it if anyone comes across one, thanks!

Well, they blew up the chicken man in philly last night,
they blew up his house, too.
Down on the boardwalk their getting ready for a hell of a fight,
gonna see what those racket boys can do.

Any excuse to work Bruce into a thread is werth it.

Whoever the woman is screaming, she knew it was a goner the second she heard the bat! Cool.

I know exactly who it was, and I'm not surprised. She was sitting right in front of us and was pretty drunk the whole game (and pretty hysterical). She kept leaving every inning to hunt for a Twisted Tea vendor, I think she drank 6 of them. Here she is earlier in the game and less intoxicated.
