Dunn Willingham, and Zimmerman are all in the lineup and Morse and Desmond are gettings ABs - we've seen a lot worse this year

I know he is hitting .151, OK.  Just some numbers about Willie and why...why he is in the lineup.  .333 lifetime vs Baldymore and .296 at Camden Yards.  Maybe this is Riggleman giving him his last chance?

Couldn't we start Bernadina instead of Harris?

Well, you can quote numbers for Nolan Ryan against Pittsburgh, but I wouldn't start him in that series.

I hope not, I've always liked willie. He's just a bench bat, but he's been decent at times. I'd rather have him on the roster than Guzman

Who in the world is going to trade for a guy hitting .151? Guzman hits around .300 and no one comes close to trading for him.

You guys all know I'm a big fan of Harris, but the way he's been batting this year I just can't see putting him out there when Bernadina is available.

Veteran bat off the bench?  Some teams need guys lke Harris.  We traded Belliard to the Dodgers when he was hitting .246 and had an OPS of only .640 and he plays terrible 2B defense and the Dodgers had Orlando Hudson.  We got a nobody and a PTBNL - sounds like we could do roughly the same with Harris.

I'm not saying we can get much for him but some teams can use a guy like Harris - teams looking to contend this year.

Last I looked Garate had a good year, but he's buried on the lefty depth chart anyhow.

I'm not sayng we can get Roy Halladay or even the next Roy Halladay - but I think in some respects, Harris is more tradable than Guzman and playing him might not be a bad idea if you're looking to get ANYTHING for him.  I think he'd actually be more valuable to most teams than Guzman would because Harris is the type of guy you'd like to have rounding out your bench whereas Guzman is the type who will sit on the bench and pout because he's not starting.
