That's what Moss has hoping for. When the Patriots traded for Chad Johnson Moss pouted and retired.

What's with all the bullcrap about Tebow? I don't understand why people are so freaking stupid about jocking that kid. Maybe one of the fanboys here can shed some light into the mentality of being someone's testicle ornament.

Tebow can't beat out Kyle Orton in a legitimate, fair QB competition. I think the Broncos are still trying to move Orton so it doesn't come down to that. Every report that I've read has Orton miles ahead of Tebow. Josh McDaniels really screwed up the Broncos.

Leach is solid, but i wouldn't call him the best FB in the game.

I think the Ravens are going to miss McClain. I know he hasn't been used as a rushing threat much recently, but who's going to be Rice's backup? And if he gets hurt? I think McClain's bruising style was a great compliment to Rice, and he at least was proven to be a legit rushing threat if something did happen to Rice.

Leach is a beast. Look at what he did for Arian Foster last season. He's a bruising lead blocker. I can forsee Rice having a career year. I can't disagree with you about Rice's backup. That's a huge problem is Rice were to get hurt. They have no one right now that is a legitimate backup. I've read that they are looking at Cadillac Williams and Ricky Williams. Not much else left out there at RB. I would like to have seen them sign Jerious Norwood, but he went elsewhere.

Caddy signed with St. Louis.

Ricky would be interesting. He's be a really good backup for Rice.

Tim Tebow will never do sheet in the No Fun League.

If Neckbeard Savior (Orton hears a boo) is miles ahead of you on the depth chart give up...

Anyone know why Marc Bulger retired? I figured he still had something left in the tank. Did he have an injury or something that I haven't heard about.

He's had several years where he was plagued by injuries.

Maybe it was just a job for him and he decided he had enough in the bank

I just wonder if he thought he should still be a starter. My understanding was that he had no interest in remaining as a backup in BMore. I would think that Bulger could definitely be an upgrade at QB for a team like Miami.

I wouldn't blame him at all if that was the reason.  :D

Braylon Edward signs with San Fran for one year at $3.5 million. He'll be their #1 guy as Michael Crabtree can't stay healthy. Doesn't really matter though, as they don't have a QB to throw the ball to anyone. SF just won't part ways with Alex Smith and admit that he's a bust. Maybe Harbaugh is secretly hoping that they'll tank this year so he can draft Andrew Luck next year.

After trading up for Kaepernick in the second round this year, I dont think Luck is on their mind this season. Surely if they end up with the #1 pick they'd consider him, but there is young talent at the spot going forward. Smith was only brought back to bridge the gap until Kaepernick is ready. He came from the pistol offense in college, so he needs to learn how to take the snap from under center and survey the field dropping back instead of setting up in shotgun all the time. He's got a lot of work ahead, but he's definitely got all the physical tools, and is supposedly a great kid(he's adopted and is very active in the community) with the work ethic to succeed. Kind of kid you root for. He was actually more highly sought after out of HS as a baseball player than a football player, but he's come along very nicely.

They should learn from our SF and just give up on that overrated bum who is no longer a prospect because he's not under 25 anymore.   :whip:

Heard on ESPN Radio this morning: since Dan Marino's retirement after the 1999 season, the Dolphins are now on their 15th starting quarterback...

...and guess who could possibly be turning up there now: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_corner/post/The-Crisis-Dolphins-reportedly-considering-addi?urn=nfl-wp4569

Good point. I completely forgot about Kaepernick. I watched him play on ESPN a couple of times last year, including that Boise State game. He's got all the tools to succeed.

With rookie slotting, the number once pick is tradable again, I would think if luck performs again this year, they'd trade the pick if they got it

Was it red? I read an article that said guys from the West Coast use the Red Nats hat as a sign of being in the Blood gang.

Not that I am a gang expert, but I have known some, specifically some that went to Poly. Most Poly kids are affiliated with some set of the crips, not bloods.

I also haven't seen any 'extra' red National hats around. I guess the W would supposedly represent West Coast, but I haven't seen too many. In fact, I see a lot more blue National hats than red, no matter what city Im in. I live in Orange County, grew up and spend time in Long Beach, and work in LA.

There is a gang in the city of Wilmington that wears blue Nationals hats to represent their gang though. I work for the post office in a city a few miles away, and one of the dudes I work with let me in on that one when I wore the blue one to work one day. Didnt really ask specifics though.

These gangs should put out a public service announcement to the general public so you don't eat up getting your ass shot for wearing your favorite team's cap.
