Moore didn't look bad at all in the one game I saw him out there, Nady is slow as hell and has an extremely weak arm.

Can't be worse than Nady who's already a -2.2 UZR in just 17 games with a UZR/150 of -33.

Davey Johnson and Xavier Nady and Rick Eckstein and Mike Rizzo need to be gone, NOW!

There's a reason Xavier Nady was sitting at home, unsigned, when spring training started and why they got him for veteran minimum.  He's done.
Everybody except Rizzo and Johnson knows that.

As it has been for years, this continues to be one of the most mismanaged teams in sports.

Moore should be playing.  I know Davey said yesterday he needs to get guys like Nady going, but how long is too long in terms of trying to get him jump started?  At some point you have to just go with another option.

Moore was raking in AAA.

Rizzo has coveted Nady for years.  Tried signing him years back.  I don't mind him as a bench player, but not as a starter.

Obviously we need to get healthy, but there's better options on the roster (Moore) than Nady as a starter.

Send Tyler Moore back to AAA.  It does absolutely no good for him to be sitting on the bench here instead of getting regular ABs and PT in Syracuse :smh:

I was thinking the same thing. He moves fairly well and seemed at ease tracking the couple of balls hit out there.

Yeah, they need to play him or send him back down. I suspect he will PH tonight and/or start tomorrow.

That explains again why this is one of the most mismanaged teams in sports.  Coveting for years means he's older now and he shouldn't be getting starter playing time.  There is no question that Moore should be playing and Nady should be sitting.

And I don't want a bench full of veteran minimum players.  I want bench players who are actually good bench players, who are compensated for that play.

But then our bench players wouldn't know their role.

And we know how important Rizzo considers that to be.

Seems like it'll probably be a slow night anyway with everyone watching/attending the Caps game.

DanKolko: #Nats lineup: Desmond SS, Lombardozzi 3B, Werth RF, LaRoche 1B, Nady LF, Espinosa 2B, Harper CF, Ramos C, Jackson P

Nady? Come on man. Play Tyler Moore.

Maybe they want to trade Nady for spare parts? He'll be DFA'ed for Zim.

Whitey Herzog (Cardinals).   Does that count for "drink"?
