better not rain out

Capital Weather Gang NatCast has 'Probably not a wash-out situation. And it may not rain at all. But enough of a chance to keep an eye on radar' with 30-40% chance of precip and temperatures in 70's; Yahoo! Weather and The Weather Channel have 50% chance of rain this afternoon (particularly round 16.00 and 17.00) dropping to 30% in the evening.

They better start Harper, even vs the LH starter. And please give Moore a start

Moore was batting .421/.450/.789 vs LHP in Syracuse.

I hope I'm wrong, but I have the feeling Saunders will completely dominate us tonight.

I was thinking about changing the avator to Clemente'.     We need some hittin'.    We haven't won a game since I took down Bob Friend.   Waz up wit dat?    Then again, I may bail tonight and watch hockey.    I'm as tired as our offense.

espinosa really needs an off day, but with DeRosa out, nobody else can play 3B (assuming Lombo would move over to 2B).

so with that said, i want:

SS Desmond
RF Werth
LF Moore
1B LaRoche
CF Harper
C Ramos
3B Lombardozzi
2B Espinosa

Tracy could play 3B as well, he didn't look that bad actually in the few games he has been there.  I just wouldn't want to see him in the 3 spot again.

Saunders is 2-2 against the Nats in his career ...

Werth: 3-for-10, 2 HR, 4 RBI, BB
Espinosa: 0-for-3, 3 BB
Desmond: 3-for-13, 2B
Ankiel: 0-for-3
LaRoche: 1-for-3
Nady: 2-for-8
Ramos: 1-for-5

8 K/4 BB vs. Saunders

Picked him up in my fantasy league just because I know he will.

Well, looking at the fact that we got dominated by mostly every pitcher we face, I don't see why tonight would be any different.

That said, I hope they realize they make every pitcher look like a CY Young winner and break out.

DanKolko: #Nats lineup: Desmond SS, Lombardozzi 3B, Werth RF, LaRoche 1B, Nady LF, Espinosa 2B, Harper CF, Ramos C, Jackson P

Nady? Come on man. Play Tyler Moore.

Sigh, if he had put in Moore instead of Nady that would be a decent lineup.

I liked it a lot, but my first thought was, "this guy reminds me of MDS."

Glad they called him up- is this just to emphasize to him that he's not in their plans for the future?

Apparently so. 33 year old Xavier Nady who is batting .130 and is here on a 1 year deal is more important to the team. :?
