:lmao:

i actually feel bad for the guy, he was rushed to the majors long before he was ready.  He had a nice season last year in the minors.   I know that if we signed a 26 year-old CF who put up .295 / .364 / .441 with 12 HRs and 27 SBs in AAA last year, a lot of folks would be interested in seeing him at the major league level.

I don't, he was a dumbass who ignored good advice and did nothing to help himself be a better ballplayer.  Enjoy Japan.

He was an idiot with the Mets and he'll be an idiot in Japan.  It's unfortunate because, like many others (Elijah Dukes), he had talent but sheet for brains.

Was he stupid?  Did he just not care?  Or was it both?

Anyway, not our problem anymore.

A nickname worthy of hammonds if ever there was one.  Only I believe it was PA who came up with it.

The idea is that if he was going to take four random letters from his middle name to make a nickname, Klej sounded funnier. I still really like the guy, he's good for last out of the pen if nothing else.

Klej is headed back to the Dodgers.

I was still hoping he'd end up back here somehow, and give some value to my very rare Klej jersey.

O's talked to the Cubs about Soriano.

lol, perfect fit for them, just like Vlad, Miggy, and all the other "all star roster from 5 years ago" guys the O's have tried over the years.

their offense scored 84 more runs, had a 15 points higher AVG and a better OBP ... i can go on.

it was their rotation that they didn't focus on which was a big mistake.

hey at least they spent money you Lerner lover.

yeah that was nice.  their rotation completely backfired, but they had a better offense and in that aspect they tried to get better.

so far this offseason we haven't improved our O.

Come on Hammonds, the Os are a sad, sad case.  Their rotation last year was a TOTAL disaster and looks to be again this year.  Are you going to break out your Sidney Ponson jersey if they resign him?

dude i am not sticking up for their rotation.  it was awful and they haven't added any pieces to make it better.

but i am saying they went out last year and spent some money on adding bats and it paid off offensively.

No doubt, though Vlad was turdible.
