Milone's jersey number 57 is better than Gio's number 47. Just sayin

Is the reason DeRosa can't hit tied to his number ending in 7?  Come to think of it, wasn't that Pudge's number?

As for the former Nat watch, JCA is rolling the dice  with Jerome Williams in fantasy this week as a 2 start pitcher v. Minnesota and Toronto.  I'm a little concerned about making my 900 innings minimum and will stream extra starters a bit.  Did it with Jason Hammel, but cut him last week before the Toronto - NYY - BOS stretch.

Please joey bats, don't wake up.

Wasn't Shaq 32 for most of his career?

http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/o/onealsh01.html

He was, but he wore 34 during the most relevant part of his career because Magic Johnson wore #32. He was #32 on the Magic, Heat, Suns #33 on the Cavs, and #36 on the Celtics.

Coming into last night's game, Milone had not allowed a hit all season to a left handed batter.

That's pretty impressive.

Sounds like a Nats offensive all-star!

Looks like the gamble paid off.  Complete game shutout tonight for Jerome with 3 hits, 1 walk, and 6 strikeouts.

Only one of those is worth mentioning.  It's like saying Ian Desmond homered and K'd last night.

Currently Dunn has the third highest wOBA of his career at .398. I think the White Sox have to be happy with that type of production.

You do know that he has K'd in 27 consecutive games now.  I have stood behind Dunn for a long time and that was the nice way to say the streak has continued.  I look at his stats during and after games all the time and can't wait for it to end.

Who cares how many games in a row he strikes out in as long as he produces?

His wOBA is better than anyone on the Nats right now.

If he were to strike out in all 162 games but managed to put up a .850+ OPS, would it really matter, to anyone at all?

OK you don't but MLB Network seems to.  Just because you, Chief and I like Dunn doesn't mean he hasn't done it.
