A.J. Cole is in High-A Stockton. After 8 starts (38 IP, not even 5 per game), he sports a 1.842 WHIP. His walk rate has remained the same, but his K/9 is down from 10.9 to 7.3, and he's hit more batters already in 8 starts than he did in 18 last year. It comes out to a 7.82 ERA, although his FIP is down around "only" 5.

Derek Norris is raking in AAA Sacramento, to the tune of .301/.338/.489 with 11 doubles and 4 homers.

A.J. Morris has been converted to relief at High A Daytona.

Michael Burgess has a .257/.328/.431 line for AA Tennessee, where he has yet to commit an error after 29 games in right field.

Considering the injury to Ramos, I really, really wish we still had Norris. Gio's been amazing so far, so I'm still cool with the trade and am happy to see Norris raking. Also, Peacock and Milone are doing well.

Wow.  Not Nationals but Jason Marquis has 34IP with 32ER allowed this season :O

ARe you sure about those numbers?

Edit: sorry, the post was questioning the Jason Marquis' numbers. I don't know how it ended up being two different posts.  :?

Congrats to Milone, but we got the better end of that trade so far.

hahahahahaha joel peralta is a funny dude.  the rays are acting on rosenthal's bowtie for charity cause and they all did it for charity as they traveled to boston for their series.  they all dressed up like nerds and joe maddon said peralta was the biggest nerd by far.

pretty funny stuff, but it's for a good cause.
