exactly that should is bothering him, Church isn't KErns but he still has a good arm and isn't far behind. somethin is up with him, he isn't hitting well, andhis throws leave a lot to be desired we need to havn a mri on him or xrays. CHurch isn't okay.
I agree.. He hasn't been the same at the plate since the beginning of the season and he hasn't made a good throw in weeks.

Traber being used as a long man

Righties are only hitting .436 (24/55) off of Traber.. Manny obviously doesn't care about this game

and 2 more runs score.. Maybe Manny will learn not to use Traber anymore as a long man.. He is absolute dead meat against righties.  Traber and Simontacchi can both go to Columbus for all I care

This is an embarrassment.  It is only the 4th freaking inning and the game is wayyyyyyy out of reach.  That should never happen, especially at home.

Maybe Manny can call you and have you pitch long relief, after all, you talk such a good game...

NOT!

You can't debate the stats, righties are hitting close to .440 off of Traber.  Why someone who can't get out RH hitters is being used in long relief is beyond my understanding.  Traber just threw 37 pitches in one inning.  What a waste.  Manny was hoping he was going to pitch at least 3 and that is out the window now.

Every time I think they've reached rock bottom this season, they seem to dig a little deeper.

I keep thinking that they can't play any worse after every loss and yet they keep outdoing themselves.

Oh, please, we all knew before the season started that 2007 was going to be a painful year to watch. What's worse, is that it's made even more painful having to read your 6000 "piss on the Nats" posts. We don't need to be so often reminded of the pain. Once in a while I can understand, but crap, with you it's 4 out of 5 posts during a good game, its even worse during games like tonight

"Ted Lilly is toying with the Nationals.." 12 straight batters retired and the no-hitter is still intact after 4 innings

No one say anything about Lilly pitching a no-hitter so far, we wouldn't want to jinx him

Do you think Lilly will get his no-hitter? Only 15 more Nats to get out, should be a piece of cake

So if Lily gets a no-hitter, will it be a "Cubs are so awesome" story or a "Nats are so awful" story?

Has to be a "Nats are so awful" story.  The Cubs are not that good.  They are a 75-80 win team at best.  And there is Schneider's patented 2 out double that breaks up the no-no.
