I would kill for Montz to hit a HR off of Ayala right here.

Definitely. Such a winnable game. Runners on 1st and 3rd with no outs in the 8th and we got nothing. 1st and 2nd with no outs earlier in the game and we got nothing.

At the very least this game should be tied right now. It would be so sweet to spoil this one for Mets fans.

Such a frustrating performance. Worst loss in weeks. We had golden opportunities to score runs in almost every inning and failed every single time. Not to mention our pitching staff laying a complete egg.

That idiot Bernadina was walking to the wrong bench.

I have no freaking clue why Bernadina was hitting there. Stupid ass Manny has to go. Montz would have been the better option.

Luke Montz. You could count on him to at least make contact and there was a threat of a HR. I don't get what he was trying to accomplish with Bernadina who has little power and strikes out a lot. Bernadina's swing seems long to me. I don't know how he hit .350 in AAA.

It boggles the mind how many scoring opportunities we blew tonight.

He needs more playing time. Back in AAA when he was hitting .350 he was playing every single day. I think he's the type of guy that needs regular ABs to stay sharp. His swing does seem a little long though.

frustrating loss. valiant attempt at a comeback...Bernadina isn't exactly who i want up there with the game on the line. Bernadina was outmatched. Montz should've remained as the pinch hitter.

it's a shame we can't sweep the HATED Mutts, but i will settle for 3/4 tomorrow after we beat the Mets "savior" Santana.

at least Dukes hit another MASSIVE homer!!! goodness gracious, that homer was a GARGANTUAN shot! got us back into the game. when Dukes connects, it's a no doubter. he continues to prove that he's an undeniable beast and a surefire *SUPERSTAR* in the making.

and regarding Alberto Gonzalez' inexcusable base running blunder...WHAT WAS HE THINKING?! WHERE WAS HE GOING?!

where do you put him though?  Milledge and Dukes are entrenched in their spots and we're looking for a power bat to complement them out there.  I really hope we're not counting on WMP/AK/Roger next year for a starting spot.
