Potomac-Myrtle (8th inning):  King leads off the innings.  He goes down looking on strike three.  Burgess repeats with a strikeout of his own.  The Myrtle pitcher, Fellman, has now struck out three of the four Potomac batters he has faced.  The magic doesn't continue for Fellman, as he falls to Jon Solano and his mighty mighty bat. HOME RUN!  First HR of the post-season for Potomac's everyday catcher.  Lyons ends the inning with a chopper to the SS Hicks, one more run closer....

Jack Spradlin will take over for Gunderson in the bottom of the 8th.  The first batter knocks one to the warning track, but it doesn't go far enough.  Out #1.  Spradlin quickly finishes off the next two batters, sending Potomac to the top of the 9th for their last three chances at a comeback in game #2.  The bullpen has been amazing for Potomac throughout the playoffs.

P-Nats 4, Pelicans 6

Due Up:  Lyons (2-4, 2 SO, R) - Martinez (2-4, 2 RBI) - Lefave (0-3, BB)
