Bergmann now has a WHIP (walks + hits per inning pitched) of 1.74.  No pitcher should be allowed on a MLB team with that.  It's stealing ticket money from the fans/suckers.

(Image removed from quote.)

That's about half of what Andrew Miller is capable.

WHAT THE HELL. When I left work it was 1-0! It seems like Bergmann can't get out of the 5th. What happened?

Remember Air Zimmerman saying he'd be OK with the Nats going 0-161 the rest of the way after opening night?

He should've kept his mouth shut.  They're almost doing that.

He's pitiful.  What a complete nightmare of a season.  I'd just assume we be winless like Detroit.  At least they were never teased of success like we were after starting 3-0.

This is so eerily similar to the Caps start....

NJ can't hit lefties at all.  The Nats' offense is ice cold. I don't know if they were ever hot to begin with though. They have had like 1 or 2 games out of 9 that they have actually produced.  AK, RZ, Belly, Felipe, Lo Duca are doing nothing.

Lo Duca is a dead pull hitter with little to no power.  Flores is way better of a hitter.

I never knew how much I dissliked Lo Duca hes absolutely worthless hitting at this age.

Scott Olsen has been strong but 2 runs against the Marlins??? No thanks. This season is turning into a nightmare.

Jacobs with another bomb. Hanrahan sucks, we all know that. Lo Duca is a TERRIBLE, and I mean TERRIBLE catcher not to mention a mediocre hitter. The Nats front office should SERIOUSLY consider letting Flores start everyday up here. What do we have to lose?

Me too. The Nats are freaking embarrassing. On the verge of getting swept in your first ever true home series against the Marlins? freak that.

I feel like that albino from the Da Vinci Code. The Nats are my faith. I need to stick with them, no matter the cost, no matter the punishment.

And I'm getting punished.

Wish granted...

Manny should just FORFEIT the game and start a hunger strike until Kasten and Bowden give him major league pitchers.  Or SELL the team to the buyer group that came in 2nd, and actually wanted to have a real baseball team.

When Wily Mo comes back, we just will strike out more.  It's not like Matt Holliday is coming back.

Wily Mo might make things more intimidating for other teams, but I highly doubt even he could solve the mess we call a team.
