WOW ... great catch ... !

The Yankees need to get off their sorry butts, score some runs, and beat the Mets, so we don't lose ground on them  All the other NL-East teams are losing.

bad game by Church.. This is why I put "Be more Consistent, Church" in my avatar.  He'll be hitting the ball well and then out of no where he'll have a bad game like tonight where he failed to have 1 good swing all night.

ugh.. bad ABs by Church and Flores to end the game.  Tomorrow's game is close to a must-win to keep our momentum from the past series going.

Edit: I'd still take this loss over the O's loss any day.   The O's were up 3-0 going into the 8th inning at home to the D'Backs.  Well, now it is in the top of the 9th and the O's are losing 7-3.  Their bullpen gave up 7 runs in two innings.

Braves just won ... dang it ... I'm taking solace in the fact that the phillies are getting hammered ...

We lose
Nationals 2
Blue Jays 7

Atlanta pulls out a win against the Indians, as Wickman finally doesn't screw up a save for my fantasy team.
and the lame Yankeez fail to beat the Mets.

Just catching up, quickly viewing the first few pages.  I see Bucknor is having his typical kind of day behind the plate.  In an SI poll, garnering the vote 21% of the 470 players who responded, he was again voted the worst ump in MLB.

The bullpen they're paying $50 MILLION to change their fortunes.

I think I may have spotted him during the 3rd inning when the umpire screwed up the count. I'll tape the game and double check it to see.

Nice catch Langerhans.. LMAO, at least we have used our trio of horrible pitchers all in 1 game (Bacsik, Abreu, Traber) so that we have all of our quality relievers to use the next few games.
I wouldn't exactly put Traber in that list. Even w/ the run tonight, he still has a 1.80 ERA. Plus, he's only walked 5 in 15 innings. I like him out of the pen because he's a lefty and he has a different kind of delivery for the hitters to look at. The other two can go, though.
