That Nyjer foul was two rows in front of me, great $8 seat.

Nice hit for Donkey. Come on Hammer, a 2 run lead would be so sweet right now.

Sold - definitely over that. They never release turnstile attendance figures, so I have no idea how many people actually showed up. It is definitely one of the largest crowds I've seen this season.

Doc has given up 4 hits through 2 innings. No back-to-back perfecto for him.

Looks like the "secret" is out...  the Reds are going to be running on Nieves all night long.

If Nieves can't reach 2nd without hitting the ground, he shouldn't be a back up catcher. Give Maldonado the back up spot when Pudge comes back.

They're going to run on Nieves every time they get on first.

Yeah...  Nieves is going to hurt Livan's ERA.

It was a good pitch, can't fault Livo for that

They have a nice turnout I'd say. More than I expected, and people are still coming in.

Bob Carpenter said they came to see the Reds... WRONG!  They came to see Stephen Strasburg, since this was his rumored debut date!  They should pay Strasburg 10% of tonight's gate and 10% of the concessions sold

2nd   R Hernandez singled to left, D Stubbs scored.   1   0

Reds        1
Nationals  0
