It would be OK on SA:http://dereklow.co/what-its-like-to-fly-the-23000-singapore-airlines-suites-class/
Oh sure, if you got some cash to burn
I didn't think traffic on Oahu was that bad, but I don't have any previous visits to compare to. Agree with Ali on the non-stop. It was a long flight for sure but plenty of onboard entertainment options and I just prefer to get it done all at once.
What sucks is the radio. No decent talk radio, no sports. Just top 40 radio.
Its not, compared to DC/NYC/LA. On top of that, you get on the Pali or Kamehameha and even traffic doesnt bother you. Good views. What sucks is the radio. No decent talk radio, no sports. Just top 40 radio.
Is there a hurricane heading towards Hawaii or something?!
Wouldn't you call that a typhoon or maybe a cyclone?
Our Tallahassee office is closing at noon and closed tomorrow due to Tropical Storm Hermine and I'm a terrible person because I am so jealous that storm is going there and not here and they are getting weather days and we are not
Cat 1 won't cause a lot of wind damage but the surge could suck if it hits at high tide.
Looks like it wasn't all that bad. Could still drop a ton of rain up the coast, but not sure about this thing getting back to any worrisome wind speeds.
Looks like more a flooding issue--Some areas of NC and SC are going to get lots of rain--if there is that much rain it doesn't take much wind to bring down the trees. Florida seems to have dodged the bullet. Probably lots of beach erosion also including VA.
i heard earlier on the radio that there's a good chance it again reaches hurricane strength off the east coast, but it looks like more of a threat to the North East than to the mid-atlantic.
