?  Oh, Tebow?

Is there some other Chosen One I'm not aware of in the NFL?

Maybe. It might increase defensive scoring. Who knows. I think it's too subjective a penalty to call. It gets missed a lot, or called when it's not there.

Then, like hockey, football would become a game of defense.  Let's face it - football is popular because of scoring.  Doing away with interference would inhibit scoring

Corners would just tackle receivers the second the qb released the ball-it would be unbearably bad

You'd have to let the receivers be more physical, too.

If two guys are knocking the crap out of each other,  no one is catching the ball

Wasn't Alex Smith the starting QB last year?

I remember back during the 2011 draft when everyone assumed that Buffalo would take Kaepernick in the second round. They didn't. They took cornerback Aaron Williams instead. Right before Cinci and Buffalo took Andy Dalton and Kaepernick. Nice job, Buddy Nix.

I'd like to see the NFL do away with interference calls. All contact is okay (except spearing a defenseless receiver).
Mike Martz would like to have a word with you.   Those kind of rules won the Pats 3 Super Bowls.

The whining from Dungy and the Colts GM led to the current state of play.  It be fun to see it called that way now against the Pats now that they are the air circus.

I hope the Seahawks get annihilated for being dirty mother freakers.  Especially Browner.

Why are surprised Seattle sucks on the road- every team they beat on the road this year either fired their GM or coach,  that doesn't exactly speak to any quality wins

My thought as well about Washington firing Allen or Shannie.    :P
