could've been worse ... lannan with his 11th quality start of the year (assuming no more runs score).

we're gonna have to make hanson work so we can tire him out and then meet their pen.

Nats now 6-32 (.158) against the NL east this year.

We have had 12 series against NL Teams and have been swept in 7 of them.

I knew it. This is Hanson's career best outing.

Nats and Manny Acta give up before the game starts against any pitcher that is even semi-good.

Lannan 7 IP 3 ER (85 pitches) wasn't on his game today but he gave us a chance.

This loss is on the offense, again.

That was a shot.

Congrats to Dunn, should've been on the YNOT :P

Hope he gets that ball...

In similar news, on ESPN this morning they had a segment of the 5 longest homers hit so far this year and Dunns homer in Arizona earlier this year was number 5 at 452feet or something like that.

Raul Ibanez' one in Yankees stadium was number one at 477ft.

he sucks, i'm telling you.  he's not our future 2nd baseman.  i would like to see gonzalez/harris get the at bats there.

I agree with you. some here don't though. I wouldn't mind Anderson as a bench player.

Anderson Hernandez isn't that great. He gets the playing time but hes not getting better it sucks.

orlando hudson would've helped this club out more than hernandez can.  can't believe we missed the boat on that one.

Unfortunately, he's a badass.

I don't think Hudson would have signed here.

Penny & Me is an awesome song. Don't like the rest of their stuff, though.

I tend to agree with that.  I said before this season that we should've gotten Orlando Hudson, and while it would've been unfortunate to lose a draft pick, that might've been a worthwhile investment considering the bat of Hernandez.

He's a year removed from hitting what, like .200 in the minors?  He's really had no bat for quite a while now.  Some people were fooled by his hot start in the organization last September, which goes to show the power of sample size.

Problem is Hudson is 31 years old
Hernandez is 26 and can fill until someone better comes along
